I’m coming back for air from a rough few weeks of developing the 2.1beta to take some time and say thank you to all of you. Being an indie developer working on something like this can be overwhelming at times and knowing that you guys are appreciative of the work I do is a huge source of support for me.
I don’t always spend the time I’d like on support and I know some of you have had to be very patient with me on resolving the more obscure issues that popped up with 2.0 and the 2.1beta. I’m here to say that things should get better moving forward. Dan is doing a great job helping you guys out and I will be able to put more time aside for support in the near future as 2.1 stabilizes and especially after 2.1 ships and I can focus on supporting one version at a time instead of two. Thank you for being patient with this process, it’s not always ideal but managing my time is always a balancing act. Rest assured I’m doing everything I can to get all this moving forward as quickly as humanly possible.
New features will also start to come online quicker once 2.1 ships. I have a huge backlog of things I want to add to the app and I haven’t been able to spend any time on that while working on the windows port and the 2.1 beta. Stay tuned for some really cool announcements in that department. I’m super excited about what is in store.
Finally, it’s never too early to discuss 2.2, right? 🙂 You can check out the roadmap for an update on what’s planned for this but I can already say that this will be the first official Windows build of the app and that we’re hoping to be in beta before the end of the year. I’ll need all you guys’ fingers crossed to help me out with this.
So yeah… Thank you! I couldn’t do this without you guys’ love and support.
